A web application for your business is closer than you think.

I help clients come up with "on brand" app ideas and move from idea to working product faster by combining strategy, creative direction, and AI-assisted execution.

Fast turnaround Custom-built for your use case Strategy-led, not just code A fraction of what developers cost

What I Build

Before writing a line of code, I work with my clients to tease out the problem we're trying to solve, come up with an app concept that solves it, and flesh it out with all the features the app will need to be successful.

  • Who the app is for and what job it does for them
  • What the core experience feels like
  • Which features are essential vs. nice-to-have
  • How the app fits into your brand
  • What success actually looks like
  • How it gets used and by whom

Things like:

Branded Consumer Apps

Extend your brand into useful or fun mobile and web apps that continue your brand experience beyond traditional touchpoints. Apps people actually choose to use.

Applications That Tap Into AI

Custom apps that use API connections to AI to bring intelligence into your app. Not as a gimmick. Real intelligence, baked in where it matters.

Internal Business Tools

If your team is still running critical workflows in spreadsheets, I can fix that.

Landing Pages & Digital Experiences

Pages that actually convert, because they're built around a real message, not a template. This website was built via vibe coding.

The method behind everything here

What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is AI-assisted software development — describing what you want in plain language and letting the AI write the code, with a skilled human guiding every step. I've been deep into it since it began, two years ago. And there is absolutely an art to it: knowing how to prompt, how to structure a problem, when to push the AI and when to pull it back. The results, when done well, are extraordinary.

Selected Work

Real, working web applications I have built — each one around a specific problem, a specific audience, and a specific outcome.

Connelly Partners Referral App

Connelly Partners Referral App — dashboard showing contest points, rank leaderboard, and active contacts with gamified point tracking
Internal Business ToolWeb AppAgency ToolGamification

Connelly Partners wanted to get more employees to help with client referrals. So I came up with, designed, and coded a gamified referral platform. Employees log connections, track their rank on a live leaderboard, and earn contest points toward monthly prizes — turning business development into something people actually want to participate in. Built for the entire agency, with admin tools and real-time score tracking.

This demonstrates:

  • Building internal motivation systems that change real employee behavior
  • Combining game mechanics with business development goals
  • Delivering a production-ready app for a named real-world client

IX Original

IX Original — showing the Idea Stream with live idea posts, Creative Brief panel, and IX Spark Mini integration
Product StrategyWeb ApplicationSaaSWorkflow Design

In 2019, I spent over $50,000 building a software platform using traditional developers. It worked, but it was slow, expensive to change, and never quite right. Last year I rebuilt the entire platform myself using vibe coding — for far less money. And honestly? It's better. Subscribers get a Command Center to launch unlimited idea projects with any team of four: distribute briefs, collect ideas asynchronously in a live Idea Stream, and document output — no meetings required.

This demonstrates:

  • Rebuilding a $50k+ traditional dev project solo — better, faster, cheaper
  • Designing a structured self-serve product with a clear, repeatable workflow
  • Building for asynchronous creative collaboration at scale

Sneak Attack

Sneak Attack — AI-powered sales intelligence tool generating a battlecard with competitive context and sales angles
AI ToolSales IntelligenceWeb Application

Type in a company name and what you're selling. In seconds, Sneak Attack generates a complete AI-powered battlecard: your best opening line, targeted sales angles, the right contacts by name and title, current vendors to dislodge, and recent news to leverage. Also generates targeted prospect lists filtered by industry, geography, and company size. Turns cold calls into bold calls.

This demonstrates:

  • Combining live AI research with practical, high-stakes sales execution
  • Building a tool precise enough to feel like a research assistant
  • Clean UX built around a single, clearly defined job-to-be-done

IX Spark

IX Spark — showing three simultaneous ideation outputs (Sober, Microdose, Tripping) for 'Ways to prove we live in a hologram'
AI WorkflowWeb ApplicationStrategy

An AI-assisted ideation platform that uses calibrated hallucination levels — Sober, Microdose, or Tripping — to flood users with creative sparks. Upload a brief, pick your level, and IX Spark generates unexpected, thought-provoking ideas across all three modes simultaneously. Built on the insight that AI is best used to accelerate human creativity, not replace it.

This demonstrates:

  • Building with AI as a genuine, designed product component
  • Creating calibrated creative output across a spectrum of thinking styles
  • Shaping what AI generates rather than accepting it wholesale

Ideasicle X Website

Ideasicle X website — bold yellow homepage with the founding statement: 'A marketing problem is just the absence of an idea'
Web DesignBrand StrategyContent DesignVibe Coding

Building a great product isn't enough — it has to be presented clearly and compellingly. I designed and built the Ideasicle X website to do three things: make a complex idea instantly understandable, communicate the brand's bold point of view, and convert the right visitors into customers. The result is a site that leads with a strong founding statement, walks the visitor through the value in plain language, and feels like it means business.

This demonstrates:

  • Translating a nuanced platform concept into a clear, scannable story
  • Designing for a specific audience — marketers who are skeptical and busy
  • Building a brand-forward site that earns trust before asking for anything

Dart Golf

Dart Golf — turns a real dartboard into an 18-hole golf course, showing Hole 1 gameplay with a virtual dartboard
Consumer AppSportsProduct DesignWeb App

I invented Dart Golf — a web app that turns any real dartboard into an 18-hole golf course. Every throw is a stroke. The app shows you exactly where to aim for tee shots, approaches, and putts, then tracks scores for up to four players. The first course is modeled after the Skenandoa Club in Clinton, NY — a real course designed by my father. No download, no account, no cost.

This demonstrates:

  • Inventing a new game and bringing it to life digitally
  • Designing complex game logic into an intuitive, frictionless interface
  • Building an engaging, free-to-play consumer experience from scratch

My approach to app development

A disciplined approach to moving from idea to working software without the bloat of a traditional agency engagement.

1

Clarify the opportunity

Before anything else, we figure out exactly what we're solving for so we build the right solution.

2

Shape the right product

Either you share your idea or we come up with an app concept together that's useful and achievable.

3

Vibe code a fast working version

I build quickly, using AI-assisted methods to get to a real working product. I'll build the app in stages, the next building on the last.

4

Refine through feedback

Real feedback from real use. We adjust based on what actually happens, not what we predicted.

5

Launch or hand off

Depending on what you need: live deployment, code handoff, or both.

Why me?

"I spent years in advertising — thinking creatively about brands, positioning, and campaigns for Microsoft, Honda, Titleist, Miller High Life, DraftKings, and many more. Now I get to apply all of that marketing experience to app development. That combination is rare. Most developers don't think in terms of branding. Most brand strategists can't build apps."

Marketing thinking built in from the start. I don't just write code — I think about positioning, audience, and the story your product tells before a single line is written.

Speed without the overhead. I move fast because there's no team to manage, no endless standups, and no bloated scope creep.

Comfortable with ambiguity. You don't need a perfect brief to start. We can work from a rough idea and sharpen it together.

Strong product instincts. Honed by building real applications that real people use — not mockups, not slide decks.

Dramatically lower cost. No bloated developer teams, unnecessary overhead, or complex contracts. The budget goes entirely into the product.

Proven delivery. I've shipped real products from 0 to 1, consistently and on time.

Have an idea for a tool, workflow, or product? Let's talk.

If you have something in mind — rough or fully formed — I can help you figure out if it's worth building, what it should actually be, and how to get there fast. No long intake process. Just a focused conversation.
