So you say you like Friday martinis…
My favorite beverage is a martini. At some point in the early 2000’s I started posting a picture of my martinis. Then in 2011 I posted a martini pic every Friday on Instagram and Facebook. And I’ve been doing it ever since. I may have missed one or two per year since it began, but I tried my best not to miss any Fridays. The martini was my reward!
Why do I do this? Well, to me, that first martini on a Friday after work is a symbol of the transition from the work week to the weekend. It’s a liquid portal we can walk through and BOOM it’s the weekend.
